Lucknow Literary Festival is being started at Lucknow the capital of Uttar Pradesh, to promote the literary & cultural genius of Uttar Pradesh & Lucknow in particular ! To carry on this legacy, and consciously try to enlighten the authors, special award ‘Pride of Lucknow’ has also been initiated and presented to 7 legends in the 1st edition of the festival who have contributed & highlighted Lucknow in various aspects.

True representative of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb of Lucknow. He prefer to call himself ‘Kavi-Shayer of Hindi-Urdu’ languages. Very popular on stage for his poetry and stories. Awarded numerous times for his contributions in literature, which he also inherited from his family ! Well versed in 4 languages Hindi, Urdu, Awadhi & English. He is into creative writings like ghazal, geet, story, write-up, reviews, etc. Various newspapers & magazines regularly publishes his articles and poetry. He is famous poet across India and international also in mushaira and kavi sammelans. He is also active on radio and television programmes. His one of the remarkable milestone is poetry recital and speech in parliament of Sri Lanka.
