The

Lucknow Literary Festival

stands out as India’s unique literary gathering, distinguished by its complete reliance on the dedicated efforts of a youth organization, with an average team age of just 24 years. This pioneering event is the brainchild of the LUCKNOW Society, a non-profit organization committed to the preservation and promotion of Lucknow’s culture, ‘Tehzeeb,’ and heritage. Leading this endeavor is Shamim A. Aarzoo, the founder of the society.

The Lucknow Literary Festival, also known as ‘लखनऊ साहित्य महोत्सव,’ celebrates emerging literary talents, pays tribute to our literary icons, and rekindles the rich literary traditions of the past. It’s a platform that not only honors Lucknow’s distinctive heritage but also sparks the curiosity of the newer generation.

In addition to its literary offerings, the festival is a vibrant celebration of entertainment, featuring various art forms and showcasing the city’s rich cultural tapestry.
